Asociación Paideia attends the workshop “Céntrate” in Lorca (Murcia)

For four intense and intensive days members of our association have attended a workshop in Lorca about political participation and youth that have dealt with important issues such as the participation of young people in youth spaces or major initiatives and good practices that are being developed in other parts of the Spanish geography. Councillors, youth workers, youth and other profiles have met in Lorca to discuss these issues and establish upcoming priorities in work with young people in youth spaces.

We also talked about the KA3 Erasmus + program, Structured Dialogue, because there was presence of ambassadors and agents for the Structured Dialogue who shared their knowledge and experiences with the other participants while they explained the process that was being carried out in Structured Dialogue.

From the 25th to the 28th of May, Paidea Association has been present in a conference about youth participation and management of youth spaces. During these meetings, we have had the opportunity to learn about experiences and good practices in youth centres and associations throughout Spain and to discuss with political decision-makers what concrete measures should be taken to encourage the participation of young people at the local level.

Finally, we held a session to publicize the Structured Dialogue program: what it is about, how youngsters can get involved and what the purpose is; as this initiative of the European Commission is one of the great strangers within the Erasmus + program.
